It will not just be a mere fun run on June 1st at the Cebu Business Park. Motorcycles and mobile phones will be raffled off to registered participants of Johndorf Run, organizers announced yesterday.
Three motorcycles – a Yamaha Fazzio, a Honda Beat and a Skygo Duke – will be raffled off during the awarding of winners right after the run, according to Jannie Cañares, assistant marketing manager of Johndorf Ventures Corp.
Two lucky runners will also each bring home a Redmi Note 14 mobile phone, while another will be secured with P20,000 worth of groceries, she also disclosed.
More runners can acquire new running shoes from Nike, Hoka, Puma, and New Balance should their names be picked during the raffle, she added.
Johndorf, a property developer, organized the June 1 run to mark its 40th year building residential communities and recently an office tower with the even open to seasoned runners and packs of friends and families.
Cash prizes of up to P12,000 will be at stake along with the gold, silver, and bronze medals for the top winners in every race category – 3K, 6K, 9K and 12K.
Johndorf Run will start and end in front of the northeast side of the newly inaugurated Johndorf Tower on Mindanao Ave., located across Ayala Terraces on the opposite side.
Participants will get the usual race shirt and race bib with a timing chip, plus a drawstring bag and a raffle entry, while finishers will get a souvenir medal each, disclosed Cañares.
Those who complete the 9K and 12K runs will further get a finisher’s shirt each, sized from extra small to 3X large, she added.
Registration will close on May 28.
