My first time to ever witnessed a one of a kind event organized by “Operating Room Nurses Association of the Philippines – Cebu Chapter”. It was indeed a very creative celebration, hence it is called “An Evening with the Nightingale” with the theme “Celebrate Love Across the Globe”. I was able to see not just an ordinary nursing students from different nursing schools in the Metro, but some staff nurses as well. While students were cheering very loud to their respective school’s performances, I gave the whole event an A for AWESOME.
Here’s some of the photos I took before my cam’s battery got exhausted. Too bad I wasn’t fully geared when I went there, but still enjoyed the show. Hope you’ll enjoy the photos as well. ๐
The officers of the association holding flags from different countries around the globe.
The performers with the countries they represent.
Spain – Cebu Doctors University
India – South Western University
USA – Staff Nurse of Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center
Philippines – University of Southern Philippines Foundation
Rome – University of Cebu
Korea – Cebu Normal University
Africa – Sinulog Idols / Cebu Institute of Technology
Brazil – University of the Visayas
They’re definitely not just trained to take care of the sick especially in the hospital, they’re not just students who study different medical terms in school, they’re not just people who have a profession within the health care to maintain desirable health and quality of life, BUT, they are also individuals who are so gifted with personal talents. Indeed, they are so amazing!
Thanks to my cousin for bringing me to the event and for giving me the ticket for free! ๐
