Olay One Wash Wonder

I have been an Olay user since 7 years ago. I am still using its 7-in-1 cream and I love how it makes my skin looks younger. When Olay released its new variants of skin whitening soap called ‘One Wash Wonder’, I was able to get the first dibs through Sample Room. This is actually a bit late but would still love to share my thoughts.

There are 3 new variants in three different colors, as well. Each bar has different focus ingredients. One has Vitamin C, the other one has Rose and Milk, while the other has Papaya.

Difference? The three of them have the same moisturizing effect and each lather very well on your skin. However, the scent of the pink one with rose and milk is very sweet for me. It smells good at first, though. But I don’t like it. It doesn’t smell like a soap for me. The one in Papaya has somehow a common smell of any other papaya soaps. Somewhat becomes ordinary to those who are a papaya soap user. What I like better is the one with Vitamin C, the blue one. It doesn’t have a sweet scent but it makes you smell better after a bath. I also love the fact that these bars don’t melt easily. So it’s really a good steal and worth your money.

For me, I think what describes Olay most with these beauty soaps is the blue variant. Although I haven’t noticed any improvements with my skin complexion even after using the three bars especially that it is a whitening soap, it made my skin looks better after all. I even recommended this to my friends.

How about you? Have you tried one of these whitening beauty soaps? Which one do you like best? Please do share them below! xo

  1. I’m so grateful that you’ve written your impressions and detailed information. I’ve been trying to find a nice soap for so long but the one’s I have tried make my skin dry, flakey and irritated. I will let you know how I go! I’m looking forward to reading more of your posts! 🙂 Keep up the great work! 🙂

  2. Wow I had no idea that such a thing as whitening soap existed! I know Asian women are always trying to get bright, white skin so I must recommend this to my family in China. I wonder if it is sold there? I hate overpoweringly sweet smells too so I think I would feel the same as you about these soaps!

  3. I got my haul too from Sample Room and some from BDJ and everydayme that’s why I have a stock that will last for a year. I really love the scent of the soap though I am not really sure if it would really make me look fairer if used regularly. As long as it doesn’t irritate me, I will never stop buying and using Olay products.

  4. I am not really a fan of Olay but my Mom loves the brand to bits! She’s been using Olay soaps and moisturisers for as long as I can remember. The Olay is the Olay Cellucent Radiance White Cream. Okay, I must admit. I love that cream too! 🙂

  5. Isn’t it bad for your skin to use a whitening soap? I think it’s forbidden in Europe and certainly not populair here.
I would love a soap that would give me a bit of a healthy tan. Embrace your skin color! That’s what I would recommend.

  6. I’ve been using olay before. It works fine on my skin esp. the day and night cream. I think its one of those highly commercialized skin products that was “hiyang” to my sensitive skin. However, i never tried any of their soaps.. glad you were able to share your thoughts about this product 🙂

  7. I didn’t know that Olay has this variant/product. I’ve heard good reviews of other Olay products. But I have yet to try this. I’m just afraid that it could make my skin even drier in some areas.

  8. I’m using the body wash and like it so far. It smells nice and sweet and feels silky on my skin. I’m just finishing the bottle I have now and will try the whitening one. Let’s see if it helps maintain my fair skin.
