Hello folks. I’m back. I know it’s been a while and it seems like I’m abandoning this blog.. oh no! Never! It’s just that last month wasn’t that good to me, got sick, injured, plus the weather here was so unpredictable but despite all I am thanking God that He keeps on showering me with so much blessings. And hey, I have so much to share to you, I mean it soooo much *wink* but before that allow me please to start it with a not so serious post.
If you’re on Instagram and Twitter (which you can follow me there, of course! hehehe), you will often see the word “selfie” on the trending topics and most of the people who are on the same social networks hash-tag that word on their photos. But what is that all about anyway?
“A selfie is a genre of self-portrait, typically taken with a hand-held digital camera or camera phone. Selfies are often associated with social networking and photo sharing services such as MySpace, Facebook, and Instagram, where they are commonly posted. They are often casual, are typically taken either with a camera held at arm’s length or in a mirror, and typically include either only the photographer, or the photographer and up to three other people.” – source: Wikipedia

Hahaha Selfies… It so all over social networking sites. amazing how trends are set. and I remember 5 yrs ago when FB was just starting that i had a few for my Profile Pic, but it didn't last long for me (suddenly I outgrown it). but now, everybody just does it… 🙂

I don't mind looking at selfie pictures as long as its pleasing to the eyes and makes other people smile. ^_^
When I was working, I used to take pictures of myself especially during idle moments but that was more than 5 years ago. My CP is dual cam so, I could see myself and take a perfect angle. LOL!!

selfies are becoming a trend right now but sometimes we can help but get annoyed because our social media will be flooded by their faces. nevertheless, it's their freedom so we must not interfere. 🙂

Actually I had been seeing selfies from my friends posted in different social networking sites since years so I wonder why there's like a sudden "boom" in taking pictures of the self nowadays.

Selfie is attributed of being too much loving of your self, and some they brand it narcissistic. But hey, whatever they call it, selfie is your personal expression and nobody cares it but you. We do selfie too. Apir!
